Rob's Protein Fruit Smoothy

Rob's protein fruit smoothy has evolved over the last 10 years and here are some of my current suggested ingredients. I start almost everyday with a smoothy for breakfast along with goji berries and cranberry's. You can look up any nutritional values online and in a future update I will outline some basic benefits of each. Below are some ideas that you may or may not use with some optional super foods at the bottom and the amounts I use.

  1. Banana - 1/2 to whole to help bind your other ingredients together.

  2. Organic Strawberries - 3 or 4

  3. Raspberry's - 1/4 cup

  4. Blackberry's - 3 or 4

  5. Tempeh - organic fermented soy 1/4 of package

  6. Flaxseed - milled 2 tblsp

  7. Hemp seed - 1 tblsp

  8. Chia seeds - 1 tbsp

  9. Avocado  - 1/4 to half depending if large or small

  10. Ginger root - small amount

  11. Garlic clove

  12. Cinnamon

  13. Tumeric - 1 tsp

  14. Black pepper

  15. Grape juice organic- 1 ounce

  16. Apple Cider vinegar organic - 1 ounce

  17. Green Tea - 2 to 4 ounces

  18. Protein powder as needed
